Sweet relief
I guess if I wasn't going to get the outcome I wanted two years ago, this year is kind of consolation.
Yes, I was one of those who wished Edmonton well enough to get to third base, but not to go all the way. (Yes, I know I just mixed sports metaphors in a horrible horrible manner.)
It's not that I'm a bad Canadian, it's just that I'm a better Calgarian (despite not having actually lived within city limits for years). You might call it a religious thing. Probably one of the few things reflexive enough to be called a religious thing.
Well, as the blog I got ridiculously addicted to this year pointed out, pre-season's in (a mere!) eight weeks. See ya all there.

I figured since the Flames lost, I was just going to stop watching hockey altogether.
Except Andre made me watch Game 7... which was disappointing for Edmonton unfortunately, but still well played.

Well. Leaving the country immediately after for three weeks was a good start.
Though perhaps participating in a playoff pool wasn't.
When do the Stamps play this week?

Good question... check out their website. I don't follow American football enough, nevermind figure out their scoring system.
However, one of my colleagues is married to a Stamp.

Actually...one advantage of living outside the blackout zone is that not only do I know when each game is, they're all televised...
And honey...it's Canadian football. Nobody watches that four-down American stuff.

Ok ok I stand corrected...
can you tell I don't watch much Canadian football? I just know that soccer is called football in Denmark. :)
Any summer plans?
