On the (figurative) beach

I've had a nice ten days or whatever so far, gotta say. Lots of chillaxing, which is fine, because it's not something I've done for quite some time.

So the big note-worthy event is that the parents have decided it's time to travel back to their roots and do some touring about China and Hong Kong. Getting excited about it for sure.

Job hunt is heating up too (though honestly not from anything I've done, explicitly. Really). Have a couple of interviews in the next week or so from interesting-sounding places, so things are looking up there.

If anything, I'm getting agitated about this wreaking hell on my travel plans. Or about lining up a great offer only to miss it because I'll be out of the country most of next month.

...and what do you mean the Chinese government doesn't take credit card payments for their travel visas?
