How did this last a full year?

Huh.

I was searching for stuff to post about, and I discovered my first post here was just over a year ago.

How fortuitious. Now I can do one of those meta-posts about blogging which used to seriously annoy me when I saw other people doing them!

Some people will argue I enjoy the extra attention... but I don't think there's that much extra. This is just a time-saver because if I wasn't ranting here, I'd be ranting to specific individuals, whether on the phone, over email, or in person. And I'd have to do the same rant over and over...

And I still actually rant all the time, don't I? Oh well.

And enough people (not many, but I'm not trying to be the next media sensation here) read this that it makes me feel that yeah, I actually am making an effort to stay in touch/keep people posted.

Anyways. I will stop here and gaze at the date of my first post in awe.

Ooooo... a full year. It's not the extra attention I enjoy - it's the proof that maybe my attention span isn't as short as I thought.

O wait. Did I just spot a shiny object over there?
