An old Flame returns...

No. Actually this post isn't that interesting.

I thought I'd just comment on the re-emergence of hockey as my chief obsession. A lot of things have been competing for my spare time (my kitchen, the online DVD rentals - so key, volleyball, a pile of good books, work...work...and more work)...but...between the fantasy team-which-isn't-technically-mine and my Flames...

No contest. Not even close.

And it's not the new NHL. As exciting as the shootouts are, I despise 'em (does it really kill teams to come out with a tie in the regular season? Does it?) ...it's just the fact that we're so damn good. Finally getting paid off for pushing the bandwagon all these years...

Meh. It passes the time till I come home for the holidays. First time in a year. Been a while.
