On the high seas
...I can tell we're there because we're going up...and down...and up...
Since we got on board I've been trying to stay horizontal (ie, asleep) as much as possible. I always find this a bit disconcerting.
After a sleepless (literally) Friday, we flew down to New York. The flight was full of little incidents annoying and gratifying since instead of going solo and buzzing by all the gates I was with two of my aunts, an uncle, a cousin and my grandmother in a wheelchair.
We met up with my parents (and several other relatives) en route to the cruise ship. Nothing of note in NYC actually (didn't see much of it) besides the worst professional driver I've ever had the misfortune to have to trust (y'know it's going to be a great ride when we pull out of my aunts' hotel and the guy nearly flattens a cyclist), and the poster for what looks like a great set of concerts (Pixies, Death from Above, sooo many others) which makes me wish I had more time here when we got back. Oh well.
Not much since then. Will be spending all my time in the gym here as it's the only place with good music.
Side note guys... give me a good reason *not* to buy an iPod Nano.
Right. Didn't think you could do it.
PS. Anybody who's reading this who is on the volleyball team... good luck tonight and leave a note to let me know how you did.

Because I will steal it from you. Bwah!!!
But seriously, don't you think it's a little too sleek and delicate and purse-sized for you? <grin>

Laser-engraved and personalized it is, then.
It's not purse sized, it's pocket sized. If I wanted it to fit (just barely) in my MEC bag, I'd have to bring the dock, too.

It's one expensive little electronic thing that's easy to lose / get stolen.
That said, I just refused to get my brother an ipod for Xmas.
